"Jamie sets the aesthetic and creative tone for all of Ivey Design Group’s projects. She has worked on high-end hotels and residences for over a decade, and her sophisticated taste and unique design solutions have left an enduring mark on the spaces she’s helped to create.
With degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Interior Design from Virginia Tech, Jamie has both the analytical and creative skills needed to successfully navigate the intricate world of interior design. She spent seven years as a project manager for consulting firms in New York City and Washington DC, working on federal IT projects. After switching careers and receiving her design degree, Jamie worked in luxury hospitality design in southern California, helping create one-of-a-kind hotels throughout the globe.
Since starting Ivey Design Group, Jamie has helped make it one of the preeminent design firms in the area. The company has worked on high-end residential, multi-family, office, and restaurant interior design in Virginia, DC, Colorado, and Florida, and the firm’s work has been seen in such publications as Luxe, House Beautiful, Home & Design, and R-Home magazines.
She currently serves as a board member for Virginia Tech’s Residential Environments and Design program, has donated her time and skills to the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, and is one of the designers for the 2023 Richmond Symphony League’s Designer House.
