Scheduling FAQ
What type of appointment should I choose?
Morris Tile offers two types of appointments: Selection appointments and Industry Professional appointments. For all tile selections, including complimentary design assistance, please schedule a Selections appointment.
If you are a contractor, builder, designer, or other industry professional and you are interested in learning more about what Morris Tile can do for you and your clients, please request an Industry Professional—New Contractor Appointment. One of our branch managers will be happy to give you a tour of our facilities and discuss how our business can help your business.
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
For design assistance, or to make a record of your tile selections for your contractor or builder, we strongly recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our knowledgeable design associates. Our showrooms can be busy, and an appointment allows us to give you the one-on-one attention your project deserves. However, our showrooms are also open for browsing during business hours, with or without an appointment. Visit any of our showroom locations during business hours to explore thousands of tile options, from the practical to the exquisite.
How long of an appointment do I need for my tile selection?
Morris Tile offers one-hour, 1.5-hour, and two-hour selection appointments. We recommend one-hour appointments for simpler projects, such as a kitchen backsplash or a mudroom floor. A 1.5-hour appointment is best for a more complicated project, such as a bathroom with a tiled shower. For multi-room renovations or new home construction, we recommend a two-hour appointment. If you find that you need more than two hours to complete your selection, we’ll be happy to schedule a follow-up appointment.
What should I bring to my appointment?
To make your tile selection process as easy and efficient as possible, please bring as many of the following items as you can:
- Floor plans of area(s) to be tiled
- Photos or videos of the area(s) to be tiled
- Inspirational photos (from Google, Pinterest, etc.) of the direction of your project
- Samples or photos of any other materials you’ve already selected (countertops, paint colors, etc.)
- Square footage or dimensional measurements of the area(s) to be tiled
